How to return a saddle that is not suitable.
The saddle is the buyers responsibility until it is received back at Saddle Central so take care packing and posting.
Clean and wrap the saddle
Clean the saddle using glycerine soap and a damp not wet cloth. Dirty or dusty saddles will incur a $25 cleaning fee.
Wrap the saddle the same way you received it, ensuring the entire saddle is covered, taking special care that the pommel and cantle are well protected. Be careful with sticky tape as one tiny piece of tape on the leather will cause permanent damage.
A return posting label is included in your parcel. If you lose it or its damaged, contact us for a replacement.
Hand in your parcel at your local Post Office
You only need to pay for insurance if you wish to add it, the other costs are charged to our account.
The parcel will be scanned and you will be given a lodgement receipt.
Email Saddle Central
Once posted email the lodgement number along with your name and order number to:firstname.lastname@example.org
You must email no later than close of business on the 8th day eg. receive the saddle Monday email the tracking by close of business the following Monday or receive Tuesday email by close of business the following Tuesday etc.
All saddle returns will have a fee of $35 deducted from the refund, this covers basic post cost and admin charges, this fee is payable even if a saddle is returned in person.
Once received back at Saddle Central a refund will be processed within 2 working days by the same method in which you paid.
You can check the tracking details with Australia Post to see if its arrived back, please wait patiently for the refund to show in your account, we process it within 2 days but it may take another couple of days before it shows in your account. Please call us to chase it if you have not received the refund after 4 full business days.
