This high profile saddle has deeper panels and front gussets and a high well cut back pommel to help give the clearance needed for a higher wither.
The gullet is changeable using Thorowgood R gullet plates, sizes Narrow - Xwide/XXwide, currently fitted with a medium gullet, we can change to suit. (add gullet alteration to your order, fee applies)
Thorowgood call this compact but this does NOT refer to the saddles overall length, we have found it to be longer than most other models so we do not recommend it for a short back. Compact is referring to the width of the seat, being narrower than the original gp model.
